Exercise can actually help alleviate the symptoms suffered by menstruation. The more active and regular it is, the better your menstruation.
Exercising as we know it also releases mood-enhancing hormones, endorphins, which help release your mind from pain and discomfort. A recent study also claimed that the higher the physical fitness level, the less the pain.
2. The right menstrual time for sports
When exercise during menstruation, your estrogen and progesterone levels are reduced. This hormonal shift makes the energy more accessible to the body, allowing you to move more actively. Thus, it makes it a great time to practice sports compared to other days.
3. Help fight painful menstruation
Painful menstrual pain is a common problem among women. And people who suffer from it, know how difficult it is to pass the time when experiencing menstrual pains. But the good news is that light exercises like walking and yoga can help relieve pain.
4. No need to exercise heavily
Do not force yourself with heavy sports. If you are unable to do intense workouts, you can take a leisurely stroll or do some other light movements. Some mild movements help to reduce painful menstruation. But if you feel very sick, a break and exercise can be done when it is not painful or limbness.
